Consulting on the installation of security door systems

The fingerprint time clock will objectively and accurately record the employee’s time when they successfully place their hand on the time clock. A simple fingerprint timekeeping system only includes a fingerprint reader (a fingerprint timekeeper) and a computer with timekeeping software installed to connect and process data. In addition, the timekeeping system can install an additional UPS for use in case of a power outage.

  • Fingerprint reader installed outside the access control area (usually the door, can be a glass door, wooden door, etc.)
  • Electrical latch. Install on the door. Connect to the fingerprint reader device so that the electric latch will usually lock the door. When there is confirmation that the correct person is allowed to -open the door, within the time allowed to open the door, the electric latch will open the door.
  • Accessories to install electric latches on doors requiring access control
  • Other supplies include network cables to connect the reader to the computer, electrical wires…
  • Doorbell: allows guests or unauthorized people to open the door to let people inside know of their presence
  • Exit button: used to open the door from the inside. The Exit button can be installed inside the door or at the reception desk.

In addition, depending on access control requirements, the access control system can install the following devices:

  • Secondary fingerprint reader: Installed inside the door, used when entering or exiting from the inside, requires permission to open the door with a fingerprint timekeeper. In this case, the Secondary Reader will replace the Exit button.
  • UPS to ensure that in the event of a power outage, the access control system still works and locks the door. Usually, the electric latch is made in open mode so that when there is an incident, such as a fire, the door will open so that people inside can escape.
  • The “”Emergency”” emergency button is integrated with the fire alarm system. When this button is activated, the door will open. Usually, this button is located outside the door so anyone can activate it.

Operating principles of the system:

  • Each door is equipped with an electromagnetic lock system and two readers (one input reader, one output reader) using cards fingerprints, or facial recognition devices. You can use the internal Exit button instead of the reader to save money.
  • The readers at the entrance/exit doors will be connected to each other, and data from the readers will be transmitted to the access control software on the manager’s computer.
  • Each employee has a unique employee code, with their fingerprint registered or an ID card (proximity card) corresponding to the code.
  • To control access to the office, employees will have to scan fingerprints or cards at the readers. The card reader will recognize the valid code on the card or fingerprint and command the door to open automatically.
  • Data, including employee ID and entry/exit time, will be saved in the reader and transmitted directly to the access control software on the security guard or human resources manager’s computer. The data on the machine will be the basis for the fingerprint timekeeper to record time.
